Walt Disney World is the most visited place on the planet, with all four of their major theme parks appearing in the top 10 of the most visited attractions in the world. The amazing Magic Kingdom sits at number 1 with annual visitors of around 21 million people. It is no surprise that a large majority of Orlando tourists plan to visit the most magical place on Earth at some point during their stay. Please see below the run down of the four major parks, as well as other attractions well worth a visit in Walt Disney World, Florida.
As mentioned above, Magic Kingdom is the major attraction at Walt Disney World. It boasts the highest visitor numbers of any attraction in the world and for children, there is no better place to go. Explore the famous zones, starting as you enter the park with Main Street USA where you can meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse as well as take the now iconic walk up towards Liberty Square and Cinderella's Castle.
From this central location you can then head off into any of the other zones:- Tomorrowland, FantasyLand, Frontierland and Adventureland.
The futuristic area of Tomorrowland is home to the famous Space Mountain as well as other fun rides like Buzz Lightyears Space Ranger Spin, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor and Astro Orbiter. Why not head into Fantasyland to meet Belle, ride Its a Small World, take Peter Pans Flight and see Mickeys PhilharMagic. Move over into Frontierland and take on the huge drop of Splash Mountain and tackle the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. In Adventureland you can explore the jungle in Jungle Cruise, ride The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, join the Pirates of the Caribbean and visit the Enchanted Tiki Room.
As well as all the above, there are also numerous other shows, parades, attractions and restaurants, making it easy to see why this is the most magical place on Earth.
Epcot is short for the Experimental Prototype City (Community) of Tommorow and was built to celebrate humans achievements through imagination. The park is split up into Future World and the World Showcase.
Future World allows you to experience all of the anticipated future technological advancements. There are so many rides and attractions to visit in Future World including thrill rides Test Track and Mission Space, the amazing experience of Soarin' Around the World, the Journey into Imagination center and the slow trip through the Epcot ball in Spaceship Earth. After visiting all that Future World has to offer, why not venture around the World Showcase.
The World Showcase displays examples of the cultures and traditions of the countries that you pass through including Mexico, Norway, China and Morocco. Included with many shops, restaurants and attractions, the World Showcase is a fantastic experience and one you are certain to remember.
Epcot also hosts the spectacular Illuminations firework and laser display show every evening at 9pm. This show however is ending in the late summer of 2019 and will be replaced with an equally superb display.
Hollywood studios was originally named MGM studios and sought to create an exhilarating, fun filled, movie and TV themed park to be enjoyed by all ages. With the name change, this park has grown considerably to include many fantastic rides, shows and restaurants.
For the thrill seekers out there, take a trip to the Twilight Zone in The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or race through the streets of Hollywood in a stretch limo with Aerosmith in Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. There is also an edge of your seat show, The Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular.
Allow your childrens imaginations to run wild as they explore the new Toy Story land with plenty of Toy Story themed rides and attractions. There are also Disney Junior Dance Party, Frozen Sing A Long and Muppet Vision 3D for the younger guests to enjoy.
Want to meet the stars, there are many located throughout the park including Mike and Sulley, Sophia the First and Olaf.

As always, there is plenty for guests big and small to enjoy here, starting with the Tree of Life, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Kali River Rapids. For the bigger thrill seekers there is also Expedition Everest and the trip to the past in Dinosaur.
Take both the tour of the Conservation Station and the Maharaja Jungle Trek and encounter lovely scenic views and incredible wild animals.
The newest area of this park and by far the most popular is the spectacular Pandora - The World of Avatar which includes the fantastic Flight of Passage.
